Job Summary:

Our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction is at the core of everything we do. We are looking for a meticulous and skilled Closing Detailer and Painter to join our dynamic team. The Closing Detailer and Painter will be responsible for ensuring that finishing touches are expertly applied to construction projects, including detailed painting, touch-ups, and overall quality assurance. This role requires a keen eye for detail, superior painting skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

• Perform detailed painting tasks, including but not limited to trim, walls, ceilings, and exterior surfaces.
• Conduct final touch-ups and repairs on completed construction projects to ensure high-quality finishes.
• Inspect surfaces for cleanliness and smoothness, and prepare them as necessary for painting.
• Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results.
• Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces for finish coats.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that all tools and equipment are properly cared for.
• Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with the project manager, site supervisor, and other team members regarding project status and any issues that arise.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with property owners, guests, and team members.
• Familiarity with construction tools, equipment, and materials.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in construction is a plus.
• Valid State-issued driver’s license, state minimum insurance, and clean driving record required.
• Proven experience as a painter or detailer in the construction industry.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to mix, match, and apply paints and other finishes.
• Knowledge of painting tools, techniques, and materials.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) is preferred.
• All candidates must pass a background check prior to employment.

Physical Requirements:

• Must have the ability to stoop, stand, climb, walk moderate distances frequently.
• Lift and/or carry a minimum of 50 lbs. frequently and safely install rigging/lifting devices.
• Regularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine.
• Regularly required to utilize vision abilities, allowing reading of printed material, drawings, and schematics.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
• Comfort working at heights and in confined spaces.

Hourly Rate: $19-$21
