Job Summary:
Seabrook is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to join our team and help lead the evolution of our people operations. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day HR functions while also driving strategic initiatives that support employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and a positive workplace culture. The HR Manager will take a hands-on approach to a wide range of responsibilities including employee relations, compliance, performance management, talent development, and process improvement. Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Lead and manage the day-to-day HR operations, ensuring smooth and efficient HR service delivery across all levels of the organization.
- Administer and support core HR programs including payroll, benefits, leave administration, disciplinary processes, investigations, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Provide expert guidance and support to both HR staff and organizational leadership, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
- Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process—recruiting, interviewing, and facilitating the hiring of qualified candidates. Collaborate with department leaders to assess staffing needs and role requirements.
- Conduct or coordinate background checks and employment eligibility verifications.
- Manage employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a welcoming and consistent new hire experience.
- Develop and maintain employee recognition initiatives to promote engagement, retention, and morale.
- Monitor and ensure organizational compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations, including EEO, FMLA, ADA, and others.
- Track and document compliance-related activities such as mandatory training, certifications, and continuing education requirements.
- Support and advise on employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
- Handle general HR inquiries from employees and supervisors, escalating sensitive or complex issues as necessary.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures that reflect organizational goals and best practices.
- Manage and optimize HR systems and tools to enhance data management, reporting, and workflow efficiency.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (HR certification preferred: SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.).
- Experience with HRIS systems and a data-driven approach to HR management.
- Knowledgeable with Google Workspace and HRIS software, ADP experience is a plus.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English preferred.

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Indoor/outdoor environment subject to changing conditions and temperatures.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and walk moderate distances.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Annual Salary: $80,000-$90,000
